The Dragon Ride
A Tough Test for Serious Cylists
If you're a really keen cyclist then you might want to
consider entering the Dragon Ride. A testing course of up
200km tackling some of the most fearsome climbs in the Southern
Wales Valleys and Brecon Beacons including the Bwlch and the
Rhigos.
The ride has been voted Britain's favourite Sportive by readers of
"Cycling Weekly" for the last three years.
The views along the route are sure to be spectacular, I only hope
the riders are able to appreciate them!
This tough event, which is only suitable for serious cyclists,
takes place each June and more information and how to enter can be
found on the Dragon Ride
website
And just to whet your appetite, here's a video from the 2011 ride
to give you an idea of what the cyclists face
