Family Attractions

There’s plenty to keep you occupied in Southern Wales

Of course there's our castles and museums but why not try some of our other attractions.

The kids will love Greenmeadow Farm at Cwmbran with their chance to meet lots of familiar farmyard animals.  Children with an enquiring mind will love Techniquest in Cardiff Bay.  A great hands on attraction with over 120 interactive and scientific exhibits and experiments, it's an educational fun day out..

Spend time in the great outdoors at Parc Bryn Bach where you will find 400 acres of woodland lakes and pastures with picnic areas, adventure playground, orienteering courses, fishing, wind surfing, mountain biking as well as racing and leisure cycling facilities.

For the sports fan, the Millennium Stadium is highly recommended.  More than just another sports stadium, this is the heartbeat of Wales, where the mood of the nation is determined by results on the pitch.  Take a tour behind the scenes - up to the top of the stands (if you're not afraid of heights) and down into the players' changing rooms.  Then walk down the tunnel and on to the pitch to the sound of 74,000 screaming fans and the National Anthem playing.

Why not hop on the city sightseeing open top double decker and get a guided tour around the capital city.  A unique & entertaining way to see the best sights & highlights of Cardiff. With 12 stops, you can hop on hop off at your leisure.
